Holidaymakers looking for the delights of the Edinburgh Fringe further afield should head to
Toronto for its annual Toronto Fringe Festival this summer.
Taking place at venues across the city between July 4th and 15th, this massive event attracts over 40,000 visitors annually and showcases a host of talent from the worlds of theatre, comedy and dance.
Attendees will be able to feast their eyes - and ears - on more than 1,000 performances from theatre companies, stand-up comedians, dancers and more from around the world, with special events for children and families also taking place.
Other things to see and do include a 24-hour playwriting contest on the second day of the festival and repeat performances of the most popular shows of the event.
Visitors to
Toronto should also take the opportunity to have a look round the city and experience some of its other attractions, including impressive art galleries, water parks and options for day excursions, as well as some superb shopping facilities.
