Boasting parades, dancing, music and spectacular fireworks, the Fiesta de San Fermin in Pamplona,
Spain, promises to be a colourful and cultural experience for holidaymakers.
Held between July 7th and 14th, the fiesta has been a feature of this part of the world for nearly 400 years and celebrates the town's patron saint.
Despite lasting only a few minutes, the Running of the Bulls - held each morning of the festival - is by far the most famous aspect of the festival.
After a rocket goes off signalling the start of the event, young men and women run in front of the bulls, leading them through the streets to the town's bullring.
Those not willing to risk their lives can watch the spectacular event unfold from behind secure fences along the route.
Visitors to Pamplona can expect to find vibrant nightlife in the town, as well as beautiful landscape around the largely unspoilt province of Navarra.

Fiesta de San Fermin website.
