Business class airline
MAXjet has announced that it is to launch new flights from
London Stansted to
Los Angeles this summer.
The non-stop service will operate four times a week from August 30th and will represent the carrier's first Californian destination.
It also said that it is set to begin new services from London Stansted to
Las Vegas from September 2nd and to
Washington from May 24th, while also looking at further transatlantic routes. The airline already offers flights between London and
New York six times a week.
"We connect London with key cities across the United States and Los Angeles is a natural match for our high-comfort, high-value service," commented MAXjet chief executive Bill Stockbridge.
London Stansted currently serves about 160 destinations in 34 countries, offering scheduled and charter flights around the world to more than 23.8 million leisure and business passengers.
