Coffee company Starbucks has signed an agreement with Alpha Retail, under which it will open new stores in a number of UK airports.
The first store is to be opened at Jersey Airport in October this year, as part of a "structured" programme of expansion into other locations.
Phil Brown, managing director of Starbucks Coffee Company UK, said: "We are delighted to be entering into this relationship with Alpha Airports and grow into the travel concessions sector, as part of our ongoing strategy to develop our licensed stores operation."
The partnership with Alpha should enable Starbucks to bring its products to a wide range of customers, he added.
Earlier in the month, Alpha announced that it had won a new contract with Brussels Airlines to provide bond logistics services and supply its buy on board programme.
Robert Shepherd, managing director for mainland Europe and USA at the firm, said that the company would be servicing passengers on 117 daily flights from Brussels.
