Ahead of its official opening in March next year, 30 workers have begun a new project to clean
Heathrow Airport's new terminal 5.
Indigo UK is to remove construction dust and waste to ensure that the new facility is ready for passengers, despite building work continuing over the next few months.
John Milford, Terminal 5 head of buildings, said: "The start of cleaning work is a clear indication that construction is reaching the final stages."
While the airport is adding the "finishing touches" to the new terminal, preparations are underway for a six-month trial period set to begin in September, Mr Milford said.
The new terminal is 40 m high, 396 m long and 176 m wide. The building work included installing 5,500 panels of glass.
Indigo UK is part of the Dutch firm Vebego International, which operates companies in a number of European countries, including France, Germany and Italy.
