Performers and artists from all over
Australia are set to head to Darwin next month for the Darwin Fringe Festival.
Running from 27th June – 15th July in Australia's far north-eastern town, the festival will launch with a party packed with jazz, DJs, rock and rap acts.
It will finish with the Final Fringe Frolic – involving lunch, tunes and an eclectic mix of special activities.
The festival "is an exciting multi-artform showcase of work created by Darwin artists," according to its website.
It aims to encourage and support local artists in the creation, development and new cultural events and expose local artists and arts workers to new ideas, approaches and networks.
While in
Australia visitors may also want to check out Melbourne on the south coast.
Australia's second biggest city saw the opening of the Eureka Skydeck 88 today.
Perched at the top of the Eureka tower, the attraction is now the highest public viewing platform in the whole of the southern hemisphere.

Darwin Fringe website.
