Each year
Copenhagen, Denmark, hosts an eclectic blend of dance, music, theatre and sport at the Cultural Harbour festival.
This year's event is to be held between August 3rd and 5th and includes 80 free-of-charge activities for locals and tourists alike.
Cultural Harbour aims to demonstrate the "widespread diversity" of leisure activities provided by a number of Copenhagen's associations, in an effort to inspire people to take up a new pastime.
Last year's event included skateboarding, performances by the Harbour Theatre, softball games, waterskiing, line dancing and music concerts.
Vistors to
Denmark can also enjoy a variety of attractions, including theme parks and zoos.
Copenhagen Zoo gives people the opportunity to see 2,000 animals from across the world in modern exhibits that aim to recreate their natural habitat.
The park boasts a Tropical Zoo area, African Savanah attractions and Rabbit Town in the Children's Zoo.
