A visit to the town of Murat in
Turkey in early August 2007 may see people pick up a tan, a good time and some groovy moves.
That is because the World Dance and Music Festival is taking place in the region, hosting performances from around the globe.
Performances will take place every day in the special Festival Place, as well as in the Massif-Central where dancers and musicians can show their stuff.
The event has been one with true international flavour in the past, with troupes participating in previous festivals coming from as far and diverse sections of the Earth as Uzebekistan, Macedonia and India.
Cinemas and concert venues throughout the town will be converted into dance space, in addition to a stage for the puppeteers and international artists who will also be taking part.
Murat is located in the Agri Ili region of
Turkey.
