Thinking of travelling to
Madrid this summer? Make sure you check out one of Europe's most prominent photography exhibitions while you're there.
The PHotoEspana event takes place until July 22nd at venues across
Madrid and attracts over half a million visitors to the city every year.
Attendees will be able to take in a wide array of work from emerging and established talents in the worlds of visual art and photography, as well as attend lectures and masterclasses and witness prize-giving ceremonies.
This year's event is set to be a particularly fascinating one as it celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2007 - visitors can be sure to expect one-off activities and exhibitions to mark the occasion.
Of course, there is much to see and do in
Madrid if you want to take a break from the festival's events - why not shop for antiques in the old town, or go for tapas in La Latina?
Have a look at the
PHotoEspana website for more details.
