A super speedy safari in Perth

Holidaymakers intending to travel to Australia this summer should not miss the thrills of the Australian Safari in Perth.

Taking place between August 24th and September 1st, this popular event sees contenders handling two and four-wheeled vehicles zip between Kununurra and Perth in the ultimate off-road race.

Competitors will make their way through deserts, forests and tropical areas in the race to the finish line, taking in landmarks such as The Kimberleys, Cable Beach, 80-Mile Beach, Marble Bar and Karijini National Park during the ride.

Famous drivers that have previously competed in the race include Andrew Cowan, Daryl Beattie, Heinz Kinigadner, Alfie Cox and Jutta Kleinschmidt.

As well as watching the race, visitors to Perth will be able to take in the other attractions that the city has to offer, including the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth Zoo and the Adventure World amusement park.
