Travellers hoping to take in
Seoul over the next few months should make a visit to the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival.
Taking place at the COEX Center in mid-August, the event is sure to be a fascinating one for those interested in all things cartoon-related - particularly Asian work.
According to whatsonwhen.com, as well as screenings and exhibitions there will also be a competition to find the best cartoon maker. A grand prize of $50,000 (£25,000) is up for grabs, meaning the contest is always a heated one with entries being of a high quality.
Visitors to Seoul will also be able to take a look at a number of retrospectives and other special events, while also having a look at the rest of the attractions that the city has to offer.
As well as the skyscrapers common in the rest of the world's major cities,
Seoul also has a rich cultural heritage, with tourists regularly attracted to its various palaces, temples and historical architecture.
