Ale and hearty in Toronto
Travellers intending to head to Toronto this year may want to make some room in their schedule for Toronto's Festival of Beer.
Thousands of people attend this boozy event every year to sample a wide range of beers, lagers, ales and barbecue food from across Ontario.
Holidaymakers flying to the city this summer can take part in the festivities between August 9th and 12th at the historic Fort York and gain entry to a host of satellite events to whet appetites for every kind of beer imaginable.
As well as supping drinks from breweries across the province, attendees will be able to witness live music by bands from Atlanta and California, in addition to local musicians.
There will also be a number of ale-related contests and competitions to take part in and demonstrations of how to incorporate beer into everyday cooking in the Grilling Tent.
Of course, once the festival is over visitors will be able to continue the celebrations in one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants throughout Toronto.
For more information, take a look at the Toronto's Festival of Beer website.
