If you're looking to take a long-haul break with the kids this summer, the International Arts Carnival offers an ideal opportunity to
fly to Hong Kong.
Taking place between July 4th and August 12th, this huge event attracts hundreds of thousands of people to Hong Kong every year for a host of music, ballet, drama, film, dance and puppetry performances in venues across the region.
The carnival is very much focused on families and children, providing much to see and do for adults and children alike.
Visitors to
Hong Kong will be able to witness a spectacular opening show this year as the Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe of China puts on its own rendition of the classic ballet Swan Lake.
Other shows include a popular sensory installation involving the transformation of a carpet into a magical garden, a musical about a boy and his discovery of a pair of red boots with special powers and a number of puppet performances designed to appeal to all ages.

International Arts Carnival website.
