Virgin Atlantic has launched a course for those looking to overcome a fear of flying at
Bournemouth Airport.
The Flying Without Fear programme has already been confirmed to run at
Heathrow,
Gatwick,
Manchester,
Southampton and
Birmingham airports, among others, later this year.
Now passengers in Bournemouth can attempt to brave their fear through the one-day course, which includes an optional 45-minute flight, from July 22nd.
The course also includes tips and advice from a trained psychotherapist and is led by Virgin Atlantic captains.
"It is wonderful that we are able to offer yet another venue for the hugely successful Flying Without Fear course; this is the second new venue for this year alone," commented Sir Richard Branson, chairman of Virgin Atlantic.
The airline announced the launch of the course at
Leeds-Bradford Airport earlier this year. It claims that the success rate for the course is more than 98 per cent.
