Feeling put off from going to a festival in the UK because of the dreary weather? Why not
fly to Turkey and bask in the sun at Rock 'N Coke instead?
This massive open-air event brings some of the world's biggest pop and rock stars to the Hezarfen Airfield in
Istanbul on August 31st, September 1st and September 2nd for three days of live music and entertainment.
The festival's main stage will see the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Badly Drawn Boy, Franz Ferdinand and Manic Street Preachers wow the crowds with live sets, while the alternative stage will play host to Erol Alkan, DJ Mehdi and Filthy Dukes.
Rock 'N Coke will also offer a market for those wanting to do a spot of shopping, as well as sporting contests, a fairground and more to entertain the 55,000 festival-goers between performances.
Once the festival is over attendees will be able to explore
Istanbul to their hearts content - check out the Grand Bazaar if you're in the haggling mood, or take a look at the spectacular architecture of the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
