Holidaymakers heading to
Dublin in the near future should make sure they do not miss this year's Bulmers International Comedy Festival.
Taking place between September 3rd and 23rd, the event sees some of the biggest names in comedy put on an array of performances at venues across
Dublin.
Comedians taking to stages in the city include Ross Noble, Jimmy Carr, Lenny Henry, Paul Merton, Rich Hall and Paul Sinha, among others.
"We have a great festival lined up," comments festival director Noel McHale.
For those who think they can handle attending every show in this jam-packed three-week schedule, a Lunatic Fringe ticket is available for just that purpose.
And for those who prefer to see something of
Dublin in between selected performances, the city offers much for holidaymakers to see and do - you could take a city bus tour, check out the numerous castles in Dublin County, or simply kick back and relax in a traditional Irish bar.

Bulmers International Comedy Festival website.
