Fancy visiting one of the foremost film events in the world as part of a
long-haul getaway? Try
flying to Toronto to witness a star-studded affair regularly ranked alongside the likes of the Cannes and the Venice film festivals.
Taking place between September 6th and 15th, the Toronto International Film Festival attracts the cream of the world's filmmaking talent and showcases hundreds of top films from around the globe every year.
Films are displayed in venues across
Toronto and generally consist of the top works that have been acclaimed at other big festivals that season.

In addition to the main focus of watching high quality films, visitors to the festival will be able to take part in a number of contests and hear experts and big names talk about various aspects of the world of cinema, as well as take a look at Toronto's other offerings in the arenas of entertainment, culture and big attractions between screenings.
