Virgin Atlantic has announced that its one-day course aimed at Britons with a fear of flying will take place in
Edinburgh next month.
The Flying Without Fear course, led by Virgin Atlantic captains and a psychotherapist, will be held at the city's airport on September 2nd and will offer tips and advice on how to cope with a fear of flying when on a flight.
People who take the course will also be able to try out this advice on a 45-minute flight at the end of the day, if they so wish.
"It is fantastic that we are able to add another venue for the hugely successful Flying Without Fear course. This is the third new venue for this year," commented Sir Richard Branson, president of
Virgin Atlantic.
"Over ten million people in the UK alone have a fear of flying," he added.
Virgin Atlantic has held its courses at
Luton,
Newcastle,
Heathrow,
Southampton and
Bournemouth airports in the past, among others.
