A rock 'n' roll break in the USA
Holidaymakers planning on visiting the USA this autumn might want to check whether the new American version of the NME Rock 'n' Roll Riot Tour is heading to a venue near them.
Past tours and gigs organised by the popular music magazine have proved a hit in the UK and now the publication is looking to repeat its success in the USA.
The tour will visit venues in cities such as Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver and New York between October 21st and November 21st.
Artists and bands set to showcase their musical talents on the tour include The Hold Steady, Art Brut, Demander, Federale, The Blood Arm and 1990s.
"We are pleased to be able to bring [to the USA] the same love and excitement that we bring to the UK scene," commented Steve Sutherland, editorial director at publishing firm Ignite.
Bands that have played on previous NME tours include Klaxons, The Killers, Interpol and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
