A new service between
Manchester and
Stansted airports is set to begin next month, it has been announced.
Eastern Airways will launch the flights on October 29th, which will run three times every weekday from the early morning at 07:15 GMT, 14:20 GMT and 17:50 GMT. The return services will take off from Stansted at 08:45 GMT, 16:00 GMT and 19:20 GMT.
The carrier said that the new service, which takes over from flights previously operated by
Air Berlin, will be particularly beneficial for those who need to commute to Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk from the north-west.
"This announcement is great news for travellers as we are not only ensuring a continuation of this important link, but are providing an enhanced schedule with greater flexibility for business and leisure travellers," commented Chris Holliday, chief operating officer for
Eastern Airways.
Last month, the airline launched a new service between
Aberdeen and
Stavanger, which flies to the Norwegian city twice a day during the week.
