Dutch carrier
VLM has announced plans to launch an extra flight on its route between
London City Airport and
Luxembourg.
The extra service will begin on October 28th and comes after the airline saw a 12 per cent increase in passenger traffic on the route during the first six months of this year.
In addition, the carrier said it intends to boost its flights between
Manchester and
Luxembourg from the same date, bringing the total weekly number of services on this route to 20 from 12.
"We are extremely proud of the results we have attained in Luxembourg so far and look forward to offering the same impeccable service to our customers in the years to come," commented Johan Vanneste, managing director of
VLM.
The carrier also operates a number of flights between London City Airport and European cities such as
Amsterdam,
Rotterdam and
Brussels.
