Heathrow set for direct T4 train service
Passengers flying from Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport from March 2008 will be able to take advantage of a new direct train link, it has been announced.
Heathrow Connect will run every 30 minutes from London Paddington Station to Terminal 4 once the new Terminal 5 is open next year.
The service also continues to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and stops at Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell, Southall and Hayes & Harlington en route.
Currently, travellers can reach Terminal 4 by taking the Heathrow Express to Terminals 1, 2 or 3 and changing to the free inter-terminal rail transfer service.
"As the direct Terminal 4 rail service from March 2008, Heathrow Connect ensures high quality, effective transport links for air passengers travelling between Heathrow Airport and central London," commented Brian Raven, managing director of Heathrow Connect.
Earlier this month, it was announced that a Heathrow Express service will run to the new Terminal 5 every 15 minutes from London Paddington to Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5.
