Business class airline
MAXjet has announced a series of changes to some of its routes over the next few months.
The carrier said that it is adding a Saturday flight between
Stansted and
New York from October 20th and expanding services on this route to operate ten times a week from March 1st 2008.
Its
Las Vegas flight frequency will be upped to five times a week from December 5th and six times a week from February 15th 2008, while
flights to Los Angeles will increase to five a week from December 5th.
However, the airline also announced the suspension of its route between Stansted and
Washington from October 29th, with travellers who have tickets for the service after this date to have their travel rearranged for them by
MAXjet.
"Our model of all-business-class comfort at a significant value makes sense for any discriminating long-haul traveller," commented Bill Stockbridge, chief executive of MAXjet.
"MAXjet customers have made it clear to us that they need more frequent service between London Stansted and Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York."
The carrier was named the second best international airline behind
Singapore Airlines in Travel and Leisure magazine's latest annual reader survey earlier this year.
