Etihad has announced plans to increase flight frequencies between UK
airports and the
United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The airline said that it will introduce a new daily service between
Heathrow Airport and
Abu Dhabi on October 28th, which adds to its current schedule of flights between the two locations.
Meanwhile, passengers flying from
Manchester Airport will benefit from a new evening service to
Abu Dhabi departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays as part of the carrier's new winter timetable.
Etihad recently revealed that it saw record passenger growth for the first nine months of this year, including a significant rise in popularity of its
business class flights from London.
"The airline's new winter schedule, which starts on October 28th, will see us boost our weekly flight schedule by a further 29 per cent, which should see us exceed our 4.5 million passenger target by the end of this year," commented Etihad chief executive James Hogan.
