United Airlines unveils Heathrow-Denver flights
New flights between London and Denver in the USA have been announced by United Airlines.
The carrier said that it will begin the daily non-stop service, which will fly to and from Heathrow Airport, on March 30th 2008 as a result of the open skies agreement between Europe and the USA.
Boeing 777 aircraft will be used on the route, offering 12 first class, 49 business class and 197 economy class seats, including 83 in premium economy.
"This year's open skies agreement that United strongly supported allows us to offer service between London and Denver, which will clearly benefit consumers on both sides of the Atlantic," commented John Tague, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at United Airlines.
The carrier currently operates a wide range of economy and business class flights to San Francisco, Washington, Los Angeles, San Diego and Chicago from Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport.
