Certain flyers passing through Gatwick Airport's North Terminal can now take advantage of a brand new executive
lounge.
The Aviance Lounge has been created to offer passengers an alternative to the main departure lounge and measures some 4,000 sq m. It boasts about 130 PC workstations, Wi-Fi access, a bar and coffee area and various reading material.
Departing flyers who hold tickets with one of Aviance's airline partners - including
Air France,
Austrian Airlines and
Brussels Airlines - can use the lounge for free, while others can pay on the door, with prices starting at £20.
"[The lounge is] a great addition to what's already on offer and provides passengers with real choice, whether they wish to enjoy the wide range of shops and restaurants available in the main departure lounge, or simply unwind before their board their aircraft," commented Emma Rees of
Gatwick Airport.
Other airlines that operate flights from the North Terminal include
British Airways,
Delta,
American Airlines and
Emirates.
