The fourth annual Russian Winter Festival takes place in Trafalgar Square,
London, on January 13th 2008.
Various forms of entertainment will be on offer, as England's capital offers visitors a taste of Russian culture.
Moreover, Visit London has recently added the celebration to the shortlist for the Visit London Awards 2007, under the category Best Celebration of Cultural Diversity.
January's event will include a performance by young Russian R'n'B star Bianka, who will sing a number of the hits from her sell-out debut album, reports Eventica.
Her unique set combines a number of instruments with Russian folk music and traditional R'n'B. This fresh sound has afforded her much attention in her homeland.
There is no fee to get involved in the Russian Winter Festival and it caters for children and adults alike.
Marking Russia's old new year, following the Tsarist calendar which was used before 1917, the party should provide fun for all the
family.
