Holidaymakers looking to enjoy a problem-free flight abroad have been urged to take heed of a number of tips from
British Airways.
The carrier has come up with advice in partnership with the Stress Management Society to enable passengers to have a
relaxing overseas trip.
Its tips include getting a good amount of sleep before setting off, using
online check-in to save time and planning ahead so that there is a decent interval between arrival at the airport and boarding the plane.
British Airways also urges travellers to stay stress-free at their destination by eating well, taking part in active pursuits and topping up fluid levels regularly.
The Christmas period is one of the key peak times for air travel. Last month, a Heathrow Airport spokesperson said that long-haul destinations such as
New York and
Los Angeles are among the most popular locations for a festive break.
