Film buffs might want to take the opportunity to have a holiday in
Dublin when the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival takes place next year.
The event runs from February 15th to 24th at venues across the Irish capital, with more than 110 films expected to be shown over the ten-day period.
Both Irish and international cinema will be well represented at the festival, with just a few highlights including surfing movie Waveriders, Polish communism-themed film Katyn and Tom Kalin's latest directorial effort, Savage Grace, starring Julianne Moore.
In addition to watching the films, visitors to
Dublin can expect to catch a glimpse of famous guests from the world of cinema, while a number of themed events will take place throughout the festival.
Last year's event saw festival-goers treated to films such as The Lives of Others, As You Like It, Taxidermia, Joe Strummer biopic The Future is Unwritten and The Good German.
