Travellers booking a return
business class flight to New York with
Eos Airlines can now take advantage of an innovative new helicopter service when flying back to the UK.
The
premium-only carrier said that it had signed an agreement with US Helicopter to provide a service whereby passengers heading back to
London from
New York can fly via helicopter from Manhattan to JFK International Airport.
Holders of unrestricted tickets will be able to make use of the service from the Downtown Manhattan Heliport or the East 34th Street Heliport, which will take about eight minutes to get to the airport.
"As we grow, we will continue to provide products, services and experiences that authentically complement our guests' lifestyle before, during and after they travel on our planes," commented Adam Komack, chief lifestyle officer at
Eos Airlines.
The carrier is set to launch a new route from
Stansted Airport to
New York Newark later this year.
