Air Malta boosts flights from UK
Air Malta has announced changes to its summer timetable that will see an increase in some of its flights from airports in the UK.
The carrier will boost flight numbers on its route between Gatwick Airport and Catania in Sicily to five per week from April 4th by operating an extra service on Fridays, TravelMole reports.
It also said that it is set to add an extra flight to its route between Manchester Airport and Malta on May 1st, bringing the total number of services the airline operates between the two destinations to eight per week.
Air Malta also runs a number of services from Birmingham and Glasgow Airports to the archipelago of Malta, which boasts attractions such as its ancient megalithic temples - which are UNESCO world heritage sites - as well as spas and numerous beaches.
Other airlines that fly from the UK to Malta include British Airways, Alitalia and Lufthansa, among others.
