Regional carrier
Eastern Airways has announced the rollout of extra flights from
Aberdeen,
Southampton and
Newcastle airports to destinations across the UK and beyond.
From March 3rd, the airline will increase flight numbers and capacity from Aberdeen to
Newcastle,
Southampton and
Leeds-Bradford, as well as from Newcastle to Southampton,
Cardiff and
Stavanger.
Meanwhile, passengers will be able to benefit from extra choice when travelling from Southampton to Leeds-Bradford and
Angers Loire.
"This latest expansion demonstrates our commitment to providing the best business schedules from [Aberdeen and Newcastle]," commented Chris Holliday, chief operating officer of
Eastern Airways.
"Seat capacity will also be increased by up to 60 per cent on some services with the introduction of our larger Saab aircraft to meet demand."
Last month, Eastern Airways was named the most punctual airline from Newcastle by officials at Newcastle Airport, beating the likes of
British Airways and
KLM.
