A new thrice-weekly service between
Manchester and
Krakow in
Poland has been added by
LOT Polish Airlines.
The flights have been introduced as part of a codeshare agreement with Centralwings, which will operate the service while LOT Polish will add the flights to its ticketing network.
Meanwhile, the airline's flights from Manchester and
Dublin to
Warsaw, which operate four times a week, have resumed service as a result of the codeshare agreement.
"Our passengers will be able to travel on the routes operated recently by Centralwings without having to change planes," commented Karolina Stanislawska, board member and commercial director at
LOT Polish.
Krakow is located southern Poland. Its castle and cathedral are among the most popular points of interest for visitors, as are the Old City district and Kazimierz, the former Jewish district in which tens of thousands of Holocaust victims died during World War II and which is now undergoing something of a cultural renaissance.
