Festive folk fun in Munich

Festive folk fun in Munich
Holidaymakers heading to Germany this spring should not miss out on what is the second largest Munich festival after the Oktoberfest.

The Spring Festival, or Fruhlingsfest, will take place at the Theresienwiese fairground in the city between April 11th and 27th and is set to offer a host of things for families to see and do.

Visitors to Munich can enjoy over 100 fair attractions, including a range of rides, games, amusements and snack stalls, in addition to various fireworks displays.

There will also be two beer tents, a beer garden, live music and more, ensuring that adults and children alike will find something of interest at the event.

Other sights and attractions in Munich include the Nymphenburg Palace, Munich Zoo, Wies Church and the spectacular Cathedral Church of Our Lady, as well as a number of traditional markets. Why not take a guided tour and explore the city further?

Take a look at the website of the Munich Tourist Office for more information.
