The number of flights operating from
Leeds-Bradford Airport to
Islamabad is set to increase.
Shaheen Air has announced that it is upping the service frequency on the route from two flights a week to three from March 7th.
The route was first launched on February 7th and has proved a success since. Currently, the flights take place on Thursdays and Sundays.
"After only two weeks of operations, the decision to increase the frequency of this service is fantastic news and meets the demands of our passengers," commented Sally Ramsey, marketing and business development manager at Leeds-Bradford Airport.
Earlier this month,
Eastern Airways announced plans to launch extra
domestic flights from the Yorkshire airport to
Southampton and
Aberdeen on March 3rd.
The carrier said it was doing so to cope with rising demand for flights on these routes and noted that the services could be particularly convenient for business travellers.
