Travellers thinking of taking advantage of Iceland's brighter days later this year might want to check out one of the biggest festivals in the country.
The Reykjavik Arts Festival will take place between May 15th and June 5th and will see a host of dance, theatre, musical and other performances put on at venues around the capital.
Visitors to
Reykjavik can expect to take in ballet shows, opera, live concerts, unique plays, exhibitions and art showcases representing the best arts talent that
Iceland has to offer.
If you intend to take in other destinations around Iceland, you can also see various festival events held by travelling artists outside of
Reykjavik - allowing attendees to see some of the country's magnificent scenery between shows.
Some of Iceland's most impressive natural wonders include the largest glacier in
Europe, hot springs, eerie landscapes formed from lava and the spectacle of the northern lights.
For more information, see the website of the
Reykjavik Arts Festival.
