Fancy visiting one of the biggest street
parties in the world? Make sure you catch a
flight to Miami for the huge Calle Ocho Cuban carnival next month.
The event attracts more than one million revellers to the Florida city every year and takes over 23 street blocks in the Little Havana district of
Miami. This year's event will occur on March 16th.
Adults and children alike can enjoy live reggae, salsa, Latino and other music across 30 stages, as well as a special kids' zone and a host of street entertainers ranging from clowns to magicians.
Food-wise, hundreds of kiosks proffer cuisine from around the world, while Miami's other attractions will also be on hand to provide further entertainment before and after the day of the festival.
You could head to the Coconut Grove Playhouse for a dose of culture, or visit Miami Beach for a spot of sunbathing, swimming and water sports.
Check out the
Calle Ocho website for more information.
