Virgin Atlantic to reward online check-ins

Virgin Atlantic to reward online check-ins
UK airline Virgin Atlantic has announced a new promotion that will reward passengers for checking in online.

Travellers flying with the carrier from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester airports between March 1st and April 30th will be entitled to £6 off when they spend £30 on its inflight Retail Therapy shopping service if they check in over the internet.

Passengers will be able to redeem their discount by printing off a voucher when conducting an online check-in and using it onboard the plane.

The Retail Therapy product range includes duty-free goods such as perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol, watches, gadgets, toys and jewellery, among others.

Paul Dickinson, sales and marketing director at Virgin Atlantic, highlighted the benefits of checking in online for flyers.

"We hope that this promotion will encourage passengers to check-in online before their trip as it means that on arrival at the airport, they simply hand over their luggage at the Bag Drop desk and go straight through security, making the whole process much quicker and stress-free for them," he commented.
