UK airline
Eastern Airways has announced plans to increase the number of flights it operates on its route between
Stansted Airport and
Manchester.
The carrier said it will increase flight frequency from three to four flights a week from April 7th.
This means that passengers will be able to take off from
London at 08:45, 12:30, 16:00 or 19:20 BST, or from
Manchester Airport at 07:15, 11:05, 14:20 or 17:50 BST, with flight times of just over one hour.
"We are further enhancing our business schedules, offering commuters greater choice, convenience and flexibility to help them make the best use of day trips," commented Chris Holliday, chief operating officer at Eastern Airways.
The airline, which introduced its London-Manchester flights after
Air Berlin scrapped its own services on the route last year, recently announced its intention to increase its
domestic flight offerings from
Aberdeen,
Newcastle and
Southampton airports.
