Fancy taking the kids on a unique
family holiday? You might want to
fly to Prague in June for the popular World Festival of Puppet Art.
Taking place between June 1st and 8th, this unique event will see a host of productions and films featuring all manner of puppets from around the world take place in
Prague.
Artists and companies come from as far away as South America and the Far East to take part in the event and win prizes in categories such as best animation and best puppet design.
Last year's festival saw visitors to
Prague take in puppet renditions of classics such as Thumbelina and Sleeping Beauty, with this year's event set to see a wide variety of art forms and stories utilised by puppeteers.
While you're in the Czech city, why not take a look round attractions such as Prague Castle, the Jewish Quarter and the beautiful architecture of the Old Town?
