A new
lounge for passengers flying first class with
Virgin Atlantic to
Boston has been opened.
The Clubhouse at Logan International Airport cost £1 million to build and is exclusively for flyers with Upper Class tickets.
Four zones are contained within the facility - the Library and Business Centre, the Lounge, the Brasserie and the Deli.
The Library and Business Centre offers a quiet reading area and extensive business and computing facilities, while the Lounge provides snacks, reading material and high quality seating.
Meanwhile, the Brasserie is an informal dining area decorated in a continental style, with the Deli offering a variety of healthy, freshly cooked dishes prepared by the facility's very own chef.
"We have developed some of the best elements of our flagship clubhouse at Heathrow and innovatively integrated them into the new space," commented Joe Ferry, head of design at
Virgin Atlantic.
The carrier's Heathrow Clubhouse won the Best Business Class Lounge
accolade in the World Airline Awards last year.
