A
luxury resort in
Egypt has claimed that it is now "a firm favourite" with British holidaymakers.
The five-star Taba Heights resort in
Taba, owned by Hyatt Regency, said that more than a third of its room nights are taken up by travellers from the UK.
In total, 28 per cent of arrivals are British, the resort stated, with travellers from
Israel and
France coming in second and third place respectively.
It also announced that August, October and November were the most popular months for holidaymakers to stay at the hotel last year.
Taba Heights offers a total of 426 rooms and suites, each with their own private balcony. Views of the Red Sea, the pool and the mountains are available.
Guest services include a casino, numerous restaurants and bars, a shopping arcade, a kids' club and beachside dining, while the hotel is ideally located for holidaymakers to indulge in a spot of diving in the Red Sea or see sights such as Mount Sinai, the Monastery of St Catherine and Pharaoh's Island.
Taba is accessible by air via flight connections at Eilat, Taba,
Sharm El Sheikh and
Cairo airports.
