Rock fans wanting the perfect holiday might want to
fly to Vienna and combine sightseeing with a star-studded festival experience.
Some of the biggest names in music are set to play at this year's Nova Rock Festival at the Pannonia Fields in Burgenland between June 13th and 15th.
Rage Against The Machine have been confirmed as the event's main headliners, with the other acts set to play including The Verve, Sex Pistols, Motorhead, NOFX, Bullet For My Valentine and Sunshine, among others.
Burgenland, a predominantly agricultural area, is situated between
Vienna and the Hungarian border, meaning that visitors could fit a variety of day and weekend trips into their itineraries while in
Austria.
The Burgenland region is known for producing a significant proportion of the country's wine, as well as its impressive castles and ruins.

Nova Rock Festival website.
