Travellers with a penchant for foreign food might want to head to
Stockholm for its annual food festival.
A Taste of Stockholm takes place between June 4th and 8th in the park of Kungstradgarden and sees hundreds of dishes served up by some of the best restaurants in the city.
Hundreds of thousands of people turn up at the event every year, eager for their fill of the finest cuisine in Stockholm. The festival is also popular for its selection of beverages - well over 300,000 glasses of wine, beer, cider and champagne were served at last year's festivities.
As well as sampling various dishes, visitors to
Stockholm can watch cooking duels between top chefs and see a host of live musical performances catering for all tastes.
Once you've had your fill of food at the event, it might be worth exploring the rest of the city to taste even more delicacies at its various restaurants.
Cuisine from Asia, the Mediterranean and North America, among other locations, is on offer in addition to more traditional Swedish fare.
