Travellers hoping to catch a
flight to Denver this summer should make sure their jaunt coincides with one of the city's biggest festivals.
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival will run from July 4th to 6th - perfect for those looking to sample the USA's Independence Day celebrations at the same time - and will see hundreds of artists display a wide range of visual art pieces across the Cherry Creek North Business District.
Attendees will be able to take in everything from traditional paintings and sculptures to theatre performances and dance shows.
Food also plays a big part at the festival, with St Paul Avenue being renamed Culinary Avenue for the duration of the event. Visitors investigating this particular street will find a range of dishes for sale, with delicacies from around the world set to feature.
Hundreds of thousands of people attend the festival every year, underlining the popularity of this enjoyable event.
While in
Denver, make sure you visit its many museums and galleries to get a further taste for the city's cultural scene. The metropolis also has superb shopping facilities and plenty of day trip opportunities, especially to the nearby Rocky Mountains.
