VLM has announced it is to run extra flights from
London City Airport to the
Isle of Man for the TT races.
Extra return flights will operate between the two points on May 30th and 31st and on June 7th.
These will run in addition to VLM's current non-stop return services, which take place every weekday and on Sundays.
The TT races will begin on May 31st. About 60,000 people flocked to the
Isle of Man to watch the famous tournament last year, as well as to take part in a variety of related events.
Among this year's competitors is John McGuinness, who has previously won 13 TT races.
"We are delighted that we can offer additional flights to cater to the demands of the many spectators who will travel to the Isle of Man for the TT races," commented Johan Vanneste, managing director of VLM.
