Britons heading to
Abu Dhabi on a
family holiday this summer will find much to occupy them at one of the city's biggest events.
The Summer in Abu Dhabi festival will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between June 26th and August 18th, offering a host of attractions and entertainment for adults and kids alike.
Children are likely to enjoy the event's seven themed entertainment islands, including Fun Island and Discovery Island, as well as the Science of Spying exhibition, which was recently seen at the London Science Museum.
A host of performances ranging from theatre to circus shows will also take place, along with numerous rides, workshops and other activities.
"From cultural attractions, to high octane excitement, from relaxing zones to elements of pure fun, Summer in Abu Dhabi really does have something for everyone," remarked Faisal Al Sheikh, events section head at the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
Other attractions in
Abu Dhabi include the Heritage Village, the Sheikh Khalifa Park and a host of shopping malls and souks.
