Virgin releases book for scared flyers

Virgin Atlantic has complemented its current range of courses for those scared of flying with a new book.

Entitled Flying Without Fear: 101 of Your Questions Answered, the publication offers a host of information on how to combat fear of leaving the ground, including advice from aviation experts and psychological tools.

The questions have been collected from the courses that currently run at airports such as Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as from posts on the Flying Without Fear message board.

"More people than ever can now reap the rewards that the course and book offers those who have a fear of flying. Even though I don't have a fear of flying, I will be making sure that there is a copy of the book on my bookshelf," commented Sir Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic.

Virgin Atlantic recently announced that it is to double its flights to Hong Kong from October 28th.
