Singapore Airlines recognised by Which?
Singapore Airlines received the 'best airline' accolade at the annual awards ceremony held by UK consumer magazine Which? this week.
The event, held at the British Museum on June 17th, saw Singapore Airlines receive the award following a survey of Which? members who had taken more than 30,000 short- and long-haul flights with a total of 71 airlines.
Singapore Airlines was recognised for the efficiency of its cabin crew, the cleanliness and comfort of its aircraft, its inflight entertainment and value for money.
One of the major factors in the airline's success is likely to have been its recent launch of services using the Airbus A380.
Singapore Airlines is currently using four A380s, which are configured to offer space for 471 passengers in three classes, including 60 seats in the airline's award-winning business class setup.
The carrier recently announced that it plans to offer more A380 flights between London Heathrow and Singapore this summer.
