Bmi regional is set to provide travellers in the Yorkshire region with more access to Scandinavia this year.
As a result of an extension in its codeshare agreement with
SAS, bmi regional will launch new connections from
Leeds-Bradford Airport to the capitals of
Stockholm,
Oslo and
Copenhagen.
These new flights, which will operate via
Brussels, will provide passengers with up to three daily departures to the Scandinavian cities.
Peter Kenworthy, commercial director of bmi regional, said that the new services will complement the direct services that the airline already operates between the UK and Scandinavia.
He added: "The agreement gives our passengers real flexibility when travelling and the timings of the flights allow passengers to combine a number of cities in their travel itinerary."
Travellers in the Yorkshire region can now access a wide range of flights from Leeds-Bradford Airport, including
Madrid,
Paris and
New York.
